Battle Cancer
Battle Cancer provides functional fitness to those recovering from cancer, engaging with thousands of people all over the world. They help to support people post-cancer with fitness programs that not only aid recovery, but also inspire them through difficult times, connect them with a like minded community and build confidence.
In their own words, their mission is threefold:
1. Raise awareness and funds for cancer charities by delivering epic fundraising events.
2. Connect a supportive community of likeminded people through the sharing of stories and experiences.
3. Promote health and wellbeing as a preventative to illness.
Providing a Retail Solution
Our relationship with Battle Cancer began thanks to an introduction from our partners at Nike, who were keen to work with them. They needed a third party that could create designs for a new range of garments, build a bespoke online store and manage all of the associated logistics.
They required an online store that could provide them with the opportunity to retail their custom range of Nike clothing and accessories, helping to spread the message and build their community. All of which goes a long way in raising awareness of what they do. Enter Kitlocker.com…
Managing Products & Logistics
Despite Battle Cancer being a fighting fit community, the heavy lifting of managing the online store is completely managed by us. We facilitate every aspect of the process from holding stock, to production, to shipping. Leaving their staff with more time to concentrate on the more important things.
Not only that, Battle Cancer keep a significant percentage of everything sold on their site. These vital funds provide an important revenue stream that further assists them in developing their programs and initiatives to reach more people.
As well as the impressive range of custom designed Nike clothing, we’ve also added some made to order (MTO) items to the site. Including Battle Cancer branded sports socks which have proved to be a very popular addition.
Fighting Back Together
Sadly cancer will affect everyone’s life, either directly or indirectly, at one stage or another. It’s inspiring to see how Battle Cancer are using sport and physical activity to give people the inspiration to fight back.
